Instructions clearly say connect POWER/GROUND on the SNIPER and HYPERSPARK directly to the BATTERY for a CLEAN source of power. I'm currently in the process of installing a Super Sniper 550-531 kit with the help of my 18yr old sister bc I'm a C6 quadriplegic. I recommend anyone thinking of installing SNIPER EFI read the instructions and follow them its really not hard and if you're spending 3k+ on performance car parts wouldn't you want them to work properly/reliably?

So what did you hook up the white wire to??? Have you got all of the bugs worked out? Have you had any problems with the fuel psi regulator on the back of the sniper on the return line? I have

You can ground the white wire as a hidden kill switch

I had issues on the return too. Popped off and caused a fire with headers. Luckily I had a fire extinguisher near by and just had to replace so earls vapor guard house and some wires. Make sure that return is on tight

you may have phased the distributor wrong. when you used the plastic cap you didn't line it up properly. the two tiny pins on the distributor should also fall into place in the plastic cap.

I put my coil that close to the ignition box and it didn’t like that at all. Is yours still running ok like that, no RF issues.

he skipped all the stuff i was looking to see. where did he tie in the white wire? what did you do with the 2 wires off of the original hei ? mine came with a separate coil driver. grr

I have a question the pickup wires coming from the distributor is on what side on the engine? What direction is the holley logo facing?

What did you set your initial timing to and total timing? I know in the directions it says to set it at 15 on the 3inch screen. I'm just curious if that's what you did.

Still working great the Camaro starts and runs perfectly. The only issue I'm having now is my SD for whatever reason becomes corrupted and i just have to reflash the tune on the Holley. Probably and SD issue not a Holley issue.

Where does that white wire go to I also thought the same thing as you that it didn’t have to be connected but I can’t find out where

The white wire out of the connector with the red and white wire needs to be connected to the white wire out of the 10 pin connector which comes out from the Sniper unit. That solved my no start issues. Hope that helps

Does that sniper throttle body have an Internal Fuel regulator ? And I’m reading that the stealth throttle body works with power adders , the sniper does not work with turbos/superchargers .

Super sniper works with turbos and the regular 1 does as well. The sniper sniper gives you more control.

why would you take the valve cover off when you need to take the distributor cap off anyway? point the rotor at #1 on the distributor and line up the timing tab/balancer. that was a waste of time.

Do you have the Super Sniper? Just wondering thou you have two snails. :) I´ve got the "standard" Sniper in my Cultass and are curiouse about turboing it a bit.

Nope just the normal sniper and although my sniper handled low boost (less then 7psi) no issue I would definitely recommend the super sniper if you were going down that route!

@@ozjado tbh it didn’t go that well. I needed to add a lot more grounds due to emi. Unfortunately I believe my sbc 355 with a 262 comp cam has either a warped head or something else mechanical bc the sniper was always struggling. So I’m swapping to a 5.3 ls but I’m still going to use the sniper with the carb style intake manifold. She worked great but my motor is shitty so I don’t blame the system. I’m still very excited to swap the motor and hit the road again

I am in the process of adding this to Sniper EFI on a Roller 302 in my F100. Did you use a Dual Plane intake manifold or Single Plane? The reason I ask is I have a Dual plane with a carb spacer and hope that this will work. I would save me an additional 300 or so Dollars. Thanks!

So far it's been great there's a lot you can do with it. (2 step, cranking timing adjusting timing curve etc) I'm just getting into tuning this thing so Im excited to really get to use it.

I think it was a wiring issue. After I cleaned that all up I didn't have that issue again.
