This is applicable to office works, Not shift works. As if work for 4 days then salary would have to adjust accordingly. Otherwise paying OT would be look stupid and low productivity. Unless we like Austria has underground resources are waiting for exploit, otherwise MOP is 走火入魔了
This story lacks of the interview with those who are actually already in the mode of 4 days 12 hrs , or alternate week 3 days 12 hrs. Like what my firm is following since 2018😂

So many jobs still 6 days work. Should shorten those 6 days work to 5 days before the 4 day plan.
if we are looking at 4 days week. each day should be 11 hours per day. this will achieve 44 hours per week. it does not make sense if people expect the same working hour

The main goal is shorting the working hours to increase productivity. But in sg we are talking about same productivity hours in 4 days. This is totally different comparison.

Let me be brutally honest: Work-life balance...4 Day or 3 Day week...flexible working arrangements...it's a load of BS! As a banker on a fee-for-service arrangement, time is money. It's not how many days you work, but how many successful deals you closed. If you want a fatter cheque, you'll do whatever it takes. You either SELL your time for money or BUY time with money. It's your choice.

When helping a company review their staff strength, I noted one of the staff was busy with non work related stuff, such as searching for bargains online, cooking in the office etc. only starting her bau work at 4 pm and finishing at 8 pm. Another staff was accumulating her daily works to Friday and claimed OT to finish them.😝
why the need to only interview office desk bound employee? lower level of employee no need to work life balance?? lower level employee work longer hours, stretch over weekend and public holidays, yet salary not even more than 2500. desk bound employee easily without OT above 3000, and with OT pay even more.
