*This battery reconditioning program exceeded my presumptions. It worked on any drill battery, several AA and AAA batteries, **batery.repair** and any camera battery. The steps are simple and the act itself is exciting to do. No matter what type of battery you`ve got, it is sure to function again!*

I am in disbelief even now after I done it with a Bosch 10+ years old 14v and another one is dewalt 14v as well. The dewalt was in my garage for the last 6 years or so completely dead and not charged in years. I call this now Lazarus because it is alive after 2 tries,it charged first to 7v then to 14.6v and it is warm now but completely charged,my dewalt is back! The Bosch won’t charge more than 3v but I won’t give up on it yet. How many things out there that we don’t know? Thanks for sharing this, unbelievable! Don’t hesitate to try this, this is very real!

Thanks for the video and the info. I have 2 craftsman 14.4v batteries that are both reading zero and when I put them in the charger, I think it's a yellow light that flashes, saying that they're done. I think I will try this little trick tomorrow. Wish me luck. Cheers

Making use of the kzbin.infoUgkxcJ22tnHH9l1vjdIdEIG27iOG55P7LXI8 reconditioning plan, I just saved 2 auto batteries from being completely junked. The guides were very simple to follow. I wish I would have found this years ago! You may use the guide to recondition any battery type

I tried this trick today, and I'm kicking myself for not recording it from start to finish. Now like I said before, I have 2 craftsman 14.4 Volt Ni-Cad batteries. The important thing here is the fact that they are both NI-CAD, do not do this with lithium batteries. I tested both on my multimeter, one read 1.2 volts but when put into the cordless drill it didn't do anything, not even a slow motor noise, it was dead. The other battery showed .2V. When I put both of them in the charger, obviously one at a time, as the charger only charges one at a time, the yellow and red light comes on together saying that there is a fault with the battery, and to replace batteries. I took 2 14.4 volt batteries from a cheapo cordless drill, not even sure of the name, could be Powerfist, anyway, regardless of that (and no offence intended to PowerFist) I wired them in Series basically bringing the voltage of the fully charged batteries upto 30Volts, Now I placed the negative wire to the negative terminal on one of the Crafsman batteries, then with the positive wire, I "Tapped" the positive terminal of the battery between 8 and 12 times. This creates a short circuit in the battery, only a brief one, but one none the less, so caution should be used just in case the battery is damaged in some kind of way that could cause it to explode, although very remote, it doesn't hurt to be prepared. This is also why it is VERY IMPORTANT that you make sure the battery you are working on is in fact a Ni-Cad battery. if you are unsure about this, it would b a good idea holding off of this exercise until you know or you have help from someone who knows. Once I did this, repeated the whole thing again to the second battery. This does not take much time at all, it takes a heck of a lot longer writing about it than actually doing it. After I short circuited both of the Craftsman batteries I needed to fix, I individually tested each on the multimeter, one read 4 volts, and the other read 11 volts. I then placed the one with the higher reading in the charger, a solid red light came on, indicating that it was taking a charge, I checked on it after a couple of hours and the green light was on indicating the battery had fully charged. This time I checked again on the multimeter, which read 13.8 volts, then I put it in the drill and tested it. Low and behold it works, and is strong enough where I cannot hold onto the chuck to stop the motor. The second battery didn't go as smooth. One I had short circuited it and placed it in the charger, the light indicating a faulty battery showed up again. So in turn I ended up doing the short circuit technique another 2 times, with about an hour between them. After the third attempt at this I think it was, I placed it back into the charger and it works. It has now taken a full charge. And reads 14.8 volts when fully charged. I have read that when you take these batteries off of the charger it is a good idea to place it in the tool it is used for and operated that tool a few times. Just in case you are planning on putting the batteries back into storage instead of using them right away, this way the batteries will apparently hold their charge for longer. I saw from a few of the comment made to this guys post, that there are some dis-believers. But please don't dismiss this until you have tried it yourself. Apparently NASA and the US Navy both employ this technique. And if you still choose not to believe myself or the poster of this video then please see for yourself at the link below. And the only reason I have spent my time writing all this crap, is because for 1, it works. And for 2, these things are expensive, so why pay a corporation for new batteries, these people are willing to rip you off non stop, and again, how much to "re-furbish" a battery? Probably the same amount it is t buy a new one pretty much. Check it out yourself batteryuniversity.com/learn/article/how_to_restore_nickel_based_batteries

bravo. been doing that with all my Accu for years and saved tons of AA, AAA, RC packs 👏🏻 my way is slightly different : I only use 1 charged Accu, preferably same as the dead one, put the wire to the contact with pression to avoid spark, and keep the contact firmly for 3 to 10 seconds until the pack gets WARM JUST BEFORE BURNING TO THE HAND (must count in your head, keep hands on the pack, no interruption) Thank you for the video

could you please measure for me the value of the resistor inside the battery. this is used as a kind of sense for the charger to use the correct charging voltage. but my battery not charging anymore and i strongly doubt the resistor is the right value. many thanks.

You finished with "See if they working ah'right" -- Soooo, are they werking ah'right or not? ANd what did you actually do there? You put 2 14.4 in series, created a 28.8V battery to "zap" a dead 14.4 battery? I got a few of these but after charging now a days it hardly lasts, the flattery gets bat really quick ;(

the goal is to use the original charger after reviving an Accu that felt below 1.3 volts ! if it works but the Accu doesn't hold the charge, you must then use an intelligent charger to regenerate that Accu pack (test mode, recycle mode, renew mode...) or possibly each cell individually (with luck I agree)

Put my dead battery under a pyramid shaped banana pile for a day and they were twice the voltage afterwards and lasted three weeks without a recharge.... Oh yeah, and a dream catcher stapled to you forehead helps a lot too.

Little Clan Thanks for the Video, what I learned was that the fourth retaining screw holding the case together was under that black cap, I thought that BOSCH had sealed the pack so that DIY'ers couldn't repair it , or replace any dead 'C' cells before doing a ZAP , great info !!
