Im honestly loving this mode, its really heavily teamwork base to get kills and capture gems in the mode. People tend to come in thinking its the same regular mode and its not. My advice is pick the fastest character you'll have a better time.

one mode i hope we see become a permanent mode is a team deathmatch sort of mode, not only would it give more variety with the main wumpa hunting mode but it would also give people a way to improve in combat without going into the main mode

Players are really going to be zappin’ in this mode. My only concern is that some players will just stay at the their opponents spawn point and just let their opponents go through the rap trap to get easy eliminations which is considered cheating. I hope it don’t run in those type of situations.

I found it to be less chaotic than standard competitive. It's probably due to the fact people have to play as a team rather than them going off doing their own thing.

Tried the game mode finally and definitly it requires you to play “with the team” instead of “as a team”. To clarify, if you don’t work with your teammates in this game mode and go off to do your own thing, it’s going to reward you with constant deaths and a major lose.

I played until I got all the rewards, and well… not my cup of tea. It’s kind of a deathmatch mode, but all you have to do is zap enemies and score wumpa. Prefer more the normal mode which has more strategy etc put into.

Just took out the entire enemy team in like 2 seconds with Coco in this mode. Tons of fun, but requires some communication. And any slow/low mobility characters are pretty useless in this mode.

It really just seems like the same game mode and objective, now with just an insta-kill gimmick.

Same game mode, just with an insta-kill twist. Basically, you are given a partner right when the game starts. If you or your partner dies, or If you get too far from your partner the zap trap disconnects. When someone who does not have a partner gets close to some one else without a partner, a new zap trap connects between the two! First to 2,000 wins!

Good but bad with randoms. I played only for new 2 items and that's all. Mode is fun but a lot of randoms are braindead and dont know what to do. At least, smth new. Cool. More limited time events
