I remember when this came out I was listening to Williams as much as Carter! I love that album cover!

This was the album Ron Carter was introduced to me by Marine bandsmen Anthony (Tony) Caruso. My principal instrument was the tuba but I was required to learn to play bass. I had no idea a bass could be played like this. While stationed in Japan, I collected every recording I could find.
