I'm deep into an intellect playthrough and I find that police batons are pretty effective and very cheap to repair at the repair table only needing scrap plastic. You often find them in police vehicles.

If you're not sure to read or scrap a schematic, put them in a box. If you really need one or two schems to scrap so you can research something, just take them out of the box. If you want to build the sliding gate, you can have a look into that box, learn and build it. That is what i did. Had around 15 schems parked there in the beginning. The stun baton is really useful with the perks in UL. If you want to use it early game, i suggest craft the repulsor as soon as you're able to.

Ahh yeah, good idea! Will keep them separate 👍 the stun batton is packing a punch! Will start using it now I know I can repair it at the trader 😉 got my eye on that repulsar mod, a couple coils and I think we are good to craft 😈

For your storage, use the radial menu on each box and turn on Broadcasting to be able to pull items from your boxes at crafting stations. Broadcast distance is 10 blocks. Also, you will need the Artisan Table next as it's required for both the Furnace and Blacksmith's Forge.

also your bedroll to far to 1 side of POI so might get respawns in far end from bed. Depending on your setting of distance the bedroll no respawn effect covers. I personally always max that out to cover my base area.

You got an electric fence post schematic, a generator schematic, and a stun baton - looks like horde night is all set...provided you can wrangle up the right materials (and engine). Don't forget that steroids in UL are far better than in vanilla and will help a loot fiend such as yourself make it home with all the things. All those door schematics can be scrapped as you're going to be seeing them multiple, multiple times before you can make them. And maybe scrap those AC fans as you (should) get both mechanical and electrical parts!

these main rare things to keep eye for , Acid, Beakers... i find these 2 things are hardest material that is needed mid to late game that is hard to get...not acid becomes easier once you learn the book that allows you a % chance to get them from scraping cars or the one that gives % chance to get from breaking medical cabinets. then not bad. Beakers always super hard until late game.

please Hold down the E key and make your storage broadcast, and yes must be 10 blocks with in you standing and using at a station. I would suggest moving you stations and storage to the area on the roof with the metal venting around the out side, place the storage in middle of area and stations around the edges or even place storage under the vent area with the gaps, then leave 1 or 2 blocks and place stations down closer to middle of area.

Just a bit of advice bud.....move your work benches to within 10 blocks of your mass storage....makes repairing and making easier :)

Also not sure if Subquake changed it, but after getting the all needle and thread books bonus you can scrap the chair type from in front of the street vendor trailer into military fiber and the BDU clothes, so i keep them stored until then, will let you know if it still a thing when get to that point before you do.

Hello, new to your channel and really enjoying the content. Just wondering why you do not use the candies from the vending machine. Cost savings, loot benefits, mining and wrenching perks, stub baton and club bonuses, free falling and safe cracking. Not sure if this was mentioned in an episode I have yet to see. Hey Gregory, first of all welcome! Glad to meet you! I use them from time to time, but first week I focus on just getting aet up and getting through the first horde. Second week I usually have some tools and weapons, and can afford to spend money on candies and that. I pretty much only buy sugar butts, rock busters and in this series, the shock ones. I do use them my friend, just not focusing on it just yet 🙂
