To say the Zara's version of Kesik Cayir is 'the best' is to be redundant. Her's is always the best of every song...

She also sings some songs in English in her albums, but she is not English. Don't be stupid. Do not try to owe Turkish music and culture the create an artificial nation. This song is absolutely Turkish song, in all aspects.

Bravo Ahmet so many stupid people try to divide the people of Anatolia. We all have a common and shared culture. Zara is a treasure of Anatolia and the Turkish Republic. If she was raised in any other surrounding state I doubt she would have had the opportunity to be a great performer.

While it's indeed true that Nese (Zara) is of half-Kurdish descent and has openly advocated for Kurdish culture, this song is as Turkish as it gets.

What is there to be proud about 'kurdistan' or the 'kurdish' people?! How many universities do you have? What have you contributed to world literature, music or the arts? What notable people have been born from kurdish decent and have changed world history? There is no such thing as the kurdish 'culture'! Mind you, since they're mainly mountain-hermits, no wonder they haven't contributed anything to the world, least of all themselves... 'biji kurdistan = biji mountain hermits!'

zara kürttür bunu direk kendi ağzından söylemiştir, ama türk halk müziği sanatçısıdır alevi olmasına rağmen ilahi albümü de bulunur. Benim babamda öz be öz kürt olmasına rağmen kürt düğünlerinde hep urfa ve kerkük yöresinden Türkçe Türküler söyler kardeşçe bi dünya dileğiyle.. YAŞASIN HALKLARIN KARDEŞLİĞİ...

Zara is not kurdish, but a Turk. The fact that she can talk kurdish doesn't make her kurdish. Just like the fact that i'mnot english but can use the english language. And for the free kurdistan you mention, i think you can wait for it a long time. Becose Allah send the Turk to be the only muslem people to have a huge empire. the kurdish people in the world can go on dreaming about it. Just like the armenians, greeks and israeli's. The seventeenth BIG Turkish empire is coming. Wait for it...

Strange how you've called this 'Kurdish' Music when (a) It's in Turkish (b) it's a folklore piece from central Turkey where there's 0 ethnic kurds (c) She hasn't sung ANY kurdish songs in any of her albums, nor on stage and (d) she supports Right-wing Nationalist parties in Turkey instead of left-wing kurd lovers...
