Love the variety of that day's concert program. These days? We can only find Dvorak, Shostakovich, Haydn, And some Elgar and Prokofiev at the concert with cellists. Who can think about to play Lalo's Intermezzo at the 100th anniversary concert of BPO these days?

She wore elaborate gowns to appear modest with an instrument between her legs. Women cellist of her day were rare. She is an elegant gift.
