I wouldnt see it as rivalry between Sandringham and the Wales family. I would rather think it as a "de-burdening" for King Charles and Queen Camilla - especiakky since Queen Camilla is still recuperating from a chest infection with lingering cough. Somehow, I just can't picture HM The King, nor HRH The Prince of Wales, in fishnets, even when sitting beside the Christmas tree! 😆 I'm a little sad to read that the Wales' are planning to spend Christmas at Anmer Hall, rather than at Sandringham House itself 'though, there being only two miles between the properties, I'm sure the whole family will get together for the church service and at least part of the celebration at the Main House itself.
