Tonight zaranyzerak I’m watching Superman Batman apocalypse Great movie I really like that Batman is serious without becoming pretentious and Superman is not just the blue Boy Scout but rather a hero who does what’s necessary That adds to why I like the animated dc movies so much they depict these guys as not just heroes to look up to but also people we can connect to plus the films are mostly grounded in realism while also having fantastic elements to balance it out all of the dc animated films have that balance of realism and fantasy to some degree I’m also enjoying how they handled the origin of supergirl Superman Batman apocalypse great movie

Nice set of DC you got there. While "Marvel" may be killing it with there live-action movies, DC has been doing more well with their animated movies. So far, IMHO, there is currently only two great live-action DC movies, "Man of Steel" and "Wonder Woman", but the rest like "Batman V. Superman", "Suicide Squad", and "Justice League" have been hit and miss. Hopefully this year DC will improve again with "Aquaman" and next year's "Shazam!".

There's no way you should buy DVDs & Blu-rays of Teen Titans Go! because it's still going on Cartoon Network in the United States, even before the premiere of the Animaniacs revival on Hulu.

Kudos on that Green Lantern First Flight slipcover. It is one of 3 I need to complete my collection. Currently going for around $60 on Ebay, which is way more than I will pay just to get a slipcover. Very hard to find item.

Redleaf Boomer What’s so good about it? I read the first two volumes of Batman, all three volumes of All-Star Batman, the first volumes of Suicide Squad and Justice League, and I was not impressed by ANY of them! (Except All-Star Batman Vol. 3) So which titles from the line is worth reading?! Because I’m so frustrated by all of this.

There's literally like two lines about The Dark Knight transfer in there... "They changed the colour timing and contrast." Kay. So? They do that all the time with digital transfers. Sometimes they go overboard and ruin it, other times they don't. I never had any issues with how The Dark Knight looked on blu-ray and always felt people were being overly nit-picky. Maybe that will change when I get around to re-viewing it, who knows. Haven't watched it in ages. but that was nothing to do with the colour timing, they're just not my favorite Batman films so I don't revisit them very often.

Not really, if you actually look at was and wasn't available at the time. My collection was actually pretty close to current at the time. Not to mention there have been 6 years of update videos since this overview. Lots more DC stuff in there, and in various packages sent by viewers. It's simply MY collection. I don't have everything because I don't necessarily WANT everything. Or maybe funds were tight at the time, I'm not made of money. I would suggest if you want to enamor yourself with the collector community, maybe refrain from leaving insulting comments like this. I might have been interested in further dialogue with you about common interests as I see you are a big Logan's Run fan, and I love that franchise. But if this is the kind of judgmental comments I can expect, I think I'll pass.
