Daaammn! Great work Pred Team! From the teaser card art I was like "why is his shield so tiny?" But y'all deliver! I LOVE the combination of the "unfolding" shield animation and the barricade ability/AA's. It really showcases the lore and his character as an efficient, advanced, and deadly warrior. That leap animation is also clean as heeellll. The shield bash AA animation (body movement, mainly) seems a bit lacking in "umph" compared to his other awesome abilities. Also, while I LOVE the spear coloring indicating out-of-combat vs. in-combat, I think the color change animation could use a little upgrade (like a glow or something that could even help represent the number of stacks gained/consumed)

i have been a fan of paragon and learned so much from watch nibori back in the day. To now have him so involved in predecessor and NOW.. voices a character in the game that continues to hold the torch for paragon?!🤯😵‍💫 Such a full circle moment. 🤗

Going to honest that looks like a Paragon character. It feels styled in that world, and I can see how the Murdock skin brought the textures in to make it fit with the original paragon models. Looking good guys keep them coming.

Interesting character and kit! Definitely gonna give it a try! I would suggest to refine more the animations and aesthetic of your original characters. They cannot be compared with the Paragon characters. They do not move in an iconic way. Paragon characters are all clearly distinguishable from a far thanks to how they move and their unique silhouette. Zarus looks like a Greystone skin, while it would be nice to see the interesting draconic nature of the character developed even more.

I love that he has different auto attack animations. The lack of repetitiveness really makes characters look more fluid. Can't wait to see more Omeda's orginal heroes. Crossing my fingers to see an enchanter support soon 💕💕

Thank you so much for adding a Scalie. Growing up, I often thought the monsters you fight were more interesting that the base hero. Gauntlet Legends at least having skins of beast forms, bloody roar having morphs and evil zone offered some. As a Serath main(now Countess Main in this game), I gotta say his kit's aggression and mobility excite me. Granted, I was sold the minute I was informed Predecessor added a Scalie. Keep up the great work. I am so hype and hope to see it on console soon. Even if it is a race to PS5... if ya get this on Xbox, I have a strong feeling there are players who want an option beyond smite. Have a great week!

@PredecessorGame Honestly looks 10/10 love the amount of skill expression thought and detail both visualy, in his kit design and vfx. Can't wait to hear more of his voice and sound design in game. Also was wondering if you have plans to: 1. Add uniquely modeled jungle camps before full release And 2. Add some of the paragon legacy/ practice map visuals to the jungle. I know you've said you like the overall dusk Dawn aesthetic but I feel like the jungle needs a bit more work with all due respect, even just incorporating the jungle flowers and make it feel more jungle like.

I'll leave a constructive criticism here. For the next unique heroes, think of less predictable heroes. Zarus looks super cool but is anthropomorphic with only human abilities and a Supreme Dekker 2.0. I understand that you want to make it easier for new players to introduce Predecessor, but heroes with simple mechanics already exist from the original Paragon, Greystone, Khaimera, Grux, Serath, etc. It's time to overcome the talent you have!

Fantastic character design and incredibly fun hero to play! Great stuff team! If I may add my only 2 cents, can we plz have the thrown spear have an ARCING animation pretty please? I understand if there is a design choice for a straight thrown spear, but to me it's "unrealistic," and i say that loosely in a phantasy setting.. But I'm just *throwing out* the opinion that an arcing animation is more realistic, pleasant on the eyes, engaging, and all around leads to better and more skilled interactions. Just being able to arc it over minions, or up ledges, etc... You get it. Just a thought! THANK YOU FOR REVIATLAIZING AND MAKING SUCH AMAZING GAME AND BRINGING PARAGON COMMUNITY BACK! 🤘

Visually speaking - looks amazing. Can't even think about arguing on that. Sadly it's another hero that has a click-on-someone-to-deal-damage ability and it's his ult... Probably also deals massive damage just like Morigesh and Belica. Can't get the idea of having so many abilities that deal damage just by pressing them, but I guess people like it.

You mean a single-target-lock-on ability being his ult is an issue? It’s not so rare to see. Sure they have the Z axis to exploit but doesn’t mean ults HAVE to use it. People forget this is a team based game. Also stasis is a thing. Should maybe be more accessible but still. If you look his ult doesn’t do much damage for an ultimate. People really need to do some hw on mobas bc lock on’s aren’t necessarily a bad thing. His sort of like jarvan in a way. Notice how his target was the only enemy in his ult? I’m sure it’s a “wall” so neither players can enter or leave. Could very well be a double edge sword.

Looks amazing other than a few wonky spear throws (spawning from where he was a momment before) , and if you ask me the animation of the throw feels a little lackluster, you'd expect a heavier windup and a faster launch, but maybe it's just me xD Kit looks super fun though!

Strange that they don’t mention that the walls of his ult block enemy movement but the video clearly shows that. Can other enemies move into the walls from outside? Is it identical to how Delmarva cage works? Does it lock in all others who happen to be inside when he throws the walls down on his target? A better explanation / voice over would be appreciated!

I love everything about this. My only criticism would be for Nibori to give just a small gap between segments of information. I had to rewind parts of this video a couple times through because some of it sounded like a run on sentence going from one ability into the next and explaining what it did.
