Steve Kerr started Brunson over this guy in the World Cup. Brought Kessler who is 7”1 and could rebound and rim protect but only played him like 4 minutes a game and that in garbage time. @@loveaintshitYou are the casual lol, Luka, Curry, Shai and Hali are all close, but Curry is still the best and i say that as a Lebron fan. Doncic is definitely not a better scorer than Curry, they both average 30ppg except Luka does it on 63% True shooting and Curry 68%, Luka is a way better passer, but Curry is a way better shooter and off ball player, in fact Luka is one of the worst off ball player in the league while Curry is a great passer, so when you combine passing+ points or opportunities created because of the gravity and miss communication that Curry create with his shooting and off ball movements then you can argue Curry is a better playmaker. And yes Doncic is a way better rebounder especially for a pg, and defensively i’d say they are on the same level, so it’s close but if you have a competent team around them, Curry is still the most dangerous, he proved it in the Playoffs. And Shai also average 30ppg on 63% True shooting like Luka, so in term of scoring they are on the same level. Luka is the better passer/playmaker and rebounder but Shai is close, and Shai is a much, much better defender, he actually lead the league in steals. And Haliburton average 25ppg, but on 68% True shooting, with crazy split of 52%fg, 46% 3pts and 93% from the freethrow line so it’s close, and Haliburton is a better passer/playmaker than Luka, leading the league in assists with 12 per game and only 2.6 turnovers per game .. So offensively it’s close and i will give it to Luka just because he already showed he could dominate in the playoffs, but right now in the regular season its Hali, who is literally playing like a mix of Magic and Curry, the 2 best point guard ever .. And defensively i think they are on the same level. So Curry is still the best imo, his teammates are just trash right now, Klay is their 2nd leading scorer with only 14ppg, and he only shoot 34% from 3 and 40%fg, and after his 2 career ending injuries (Achilles and ACL tear) he is a liability on defense and look washed, he is soon 34 in February so its normal .. Then you have Draymond who is suspended, and Wiggins who was their 2nd best player in 2022 who now average 12ppg on 25% 3pts and 42%fg … So Curry has no help, and as a Lebron/Lakers fan it feel good because Curry is a scary player when he has help, i know that because i watched him win 73 games, i watched him destroyed an ALL TIME great defense (2022 Celtics) to win his 4th title, i watched him carrying the Warriors last season against my Lakers and if AD wasn’t the most versatile and the best defender in the league they would have beat my Lakers. And Curry is still that same player, so until Luka show me that he can win a title, i can’t say he is better than Curry 🤷🏾‍♂️
