@@SanDaygo97 Disagree. All of the young Lakers were put in a crazy situation with a Coach that did not favor youth and Kobe's retirement. While D-Lo was in LA, he had some very good moments and even set some Laker rookie records. What hurt him was his lack of maturity on and off the court and Magic used that to move a bad contract and move him away from some drama. Magic has admitted that this may not have been the best move, but at the time it was done for things unrelated to "shrinking" in the lights.

Finally DLo's confidence is back. Man shines when he really wanted to. We've already seen that version of him in Brooklyn, unlike in Wolves where he became more of a system player. Expect him to be a go to guy in LA, he really good in pick and roll, slow-paced, but very unpredictable, and most of all he's a 3-pt shooter.

Its insane. The spacing and shooting threat alone make a huge difference but also add his playmaking ability and understanding of how to operate within the flow of the game is night and day with westbrook who mastered the art of killing momentum. Huge pickup

The difference is Westbrook takes more shots attempts. He would shoot 2/20 or 4/19 with 5/6 TOs with 15 points. That’s not really impactful. That’s hurting the teams chances tbh. Dlo, can take less shots & still impact his game because of his efficiency & IQ. Russ doesn’t have neither of those

Yeah hope most Laker fans don’t overrate him like they do with others and I’m one of the biggest D lo fans you can know and I’m hard because I believe in him more than anyone through all the hate and criticism he gets desevred or not. Still I really think he fits well. If he plays like he did with the Wolves this season and even back in his Nets days, he can defiantly really help. Look at Lebron and AD, Lebron is literally a better version of Edwards who is obviously great as well, and AD; KAT/Gobert as also both great, but I think many people will agree AD has been and is arguably still better than them. It’s just probably the best two players D lo has played with outside maybe Curry in Gs though that was only three games. Fans should also be ready for some bad games cause he is going to be jncosntent, but I believe his skill set will still be really valuable even he isn’t having the best game. Thing is, last nights game wasn’t the best of him this season. Even with the up and downs with the Wolves, D lo had tons of games where he won a game for the team by himself. If he can get 5-8 games where he scores 20-30 with an explosive fourth quarter it will be so huge for this team. If he just accepts his role, more disciplined/attentive on defense, and splits playmaking with Lebron along with shooting/scoring to the the best of his abilities, this team can be competing till the end of the season.
