This movie's enemies is great of Zatoichi movie series. He is just the man with a chivalrous spirit. I think that he is Mr.Ninkyo.

It goes to show how honor and humility is put above all else in the Japanese culture as a warrior. Be strong and sturdy like a force of nature but gentle and understanding as a wise sage. This is how you achieve true greatness amongst yourself and your pursuit in life. Simply amazing

Ichi is a skilled swordsman, and an efficient killer, but the thought of taking another person's life is a burden that he doesn't want to carry anymore. Having found that life is sacred, Ichi decides he would rather take a beating than defend himself and kill another person.
Wise proverbs cut across languages and all barriers..

(pls which movie is this I've only seen 1 Zatoichi film) I love that the samurai gave Ichi the win but at the start when he said "I didn't come all this way to beat you up" I was surprised he was so merciful after saying that. Was still cool tho how we just said " this man's lucky, you win. You won't see me again" and then leaves, super badass that he didn't make a thing of it, I love movies. Also random but as a 19 year old I'm finding older movies are often far more badass and passion-filled then I would have expected

So is the rape of Nanking. I'd say let's forgive and let go of the past but if Germany can accept its mistakes for WW2 and move on, what is stopping Japan?
@EM-tx3ly2 жыл бұрын
@@bao2inc Japan is too proud and stubborn to admit Yes they got the two atomic bombs and surrendered but never were they humiliated like Germans did in WWII Read about fall of Berlin and it's split The Reds did horrific shit and allies bombed the living out of them not to mention the utter reprogramming of Germans to look away from Nazism & Hitler killed himself also added complete capitulation. Japanese sure defeated but kept their ultimate symbol via the Emperor the Americans were not as brutal as Communist Russians to populace. Germans didn't get Nagasaki or Hiroshima but they got fall of Berlin the rape of Berlin the death of Hitler the fall of Nazism and split of Berlin till only very recently

What Japan did in WWII is the same as what the US did in Iraq, what China did in Tibet, and what Russia is doing now in Ukraine. This is not the first time that Soviet soldiers have raped women on the battlefield; Japanese women were also raped in Manchuria. But which Russians were tried as war criminals? They were not tried, were they? People condemn the massacre of civilians in Nanking, so why not the massacre of Japanese civilians by the US military? It is the same violation of international wartime law. Invading another country's territory or overthrowing another country's government is a bad thing, and I am sorry that our ancestors did something so utterly stupid, but double standards are not good. When we point out the problems with the victorious nation and the postwar process in this way, some people will say that the Japanese people are not remorseful. But demonizing the Japanese will not make the rest of the world come clean.
