I really love these shows they don't play to show you how life it really like people have a way of deceiving and gaining trust the wrong way and if we take time to look we would see they are a lot of tricksters who would do anything to bring you down in this world in some form or fashion

I have not seen one episode that was not very good. I love Zatoichi’s films and shows. My first was in 1970 “On The Road” I was hooked and now I have it on DVD. Thank you Mr Katsu for personifying such a great character. RIP❤

In this story there are more dramas than usual Zatoichi stories: druken Oaki who is waiting for her criminal man in prison, a sneaky owner of an eating house who loves Oaki, a low grade officer, the devil incarnate, who abuse Oaki. Zatoichi is caught in this humain storm.

You may have missed the dramas in a hundred others - but there are interesting takes on the varieties of tragedy in the Zatoichi tales. You may merely be attracted to this particular one for reasons not yet examined in your own life.
