Curious as to what was their rationale in choosing HDMI for a nonvideo purpose?! Never ever seen an HDMI connection been used for this before.

Simply put, HDMI is CHEAP and available EVERYWHERE. That was the answer given, and it totally makes sense - in a pinch, you can get one delivered to you pretty quickly on set.

Thanks for the video, what are the dimensions of the Aria 8 and the Aria 4?

Aria-8 dimensions: 9.6" x 7.5" x 1.5" (w/pots and feet). The metal portion itself is only 1/2" thick. Aria-4 dimensions: 4.75 x 7.5" x 1.5" (w/pots and feet). The metal portion itself is only 1/2" thick

i cant believe it doesnt have full transport control RW FF PLAY it blows my mind, the size and the concept was perfect but those buttons are basic
