Al Jay | I believe that he was happy in 1d 2010-2012. Then he began to develop eating disorders such as anorexia from not eating. He also never liked the music from the beginning. He was just with it by the end of 2014. I think it was just too much for his mental health.

In his book he wrote that he felt like he was faking everything and he wanted to leave the band when it was at the height of its success. He also has social anxiety that's the reason why he doesn't perform solo concerts. And also for the fact that he comes from a religion similar to mine, he gets a lot of hate from that. And also when he was engaged to Perrie, there were rumours about him cheating
