It's very surprising that Liam would encourage Zayn to be more unconventional because Zayn was always unconventional with his personality and fashion style whereas Liam had the plainest and most conforming to the norms/rules personality (no offense I used to like him). Even Liam was complaining that Louis and Zayn were too wild at first when they were put in the band, when Liam was calm and didn't want to cause any troubles. Same in his solo career, Liam tried taking the "Bizzle" Justin Bieber route but failed because he has no idea who he is so it didn't feel genuine at all. His whole LP1 album has absolutely no personality and had the most generic club/radio songs. Also if you are into/believe in shipping, people think that it's Zayn who helped Liam understanding things about himself which is why Liam got the "I figured it out" line from You & I as a tattoo Overall as an ex Ziam shipper from when they were in the band I never saw their relationship in the way that you are describing it in this video at all ! But of course I know nothing about how it was actually like behind the scene so your analysis is interesting to take into consideration

The only thing that I can agree with in this is Liam couldn’t find himself and that’s why his solo career failed. Liam was calm the first year. That’s it! Louis and Zayn partied for the first year but Zayn completely stopped. He said the partying life wasn’t for him. He didn’t like it. Liam, Niall, and Harry partied all the time. Liam and Niall always partied together. Liam was drunk a lot as well. Liam and Zayn were close the first year and then it was mostly Zayn, Louis and Harry. The last year it was just Harry and Zayn and I think it was because they wanted out of the band and Harry was sympathetic to what Zayn was going through mentally. Liam and Louis wanted to stay and I think that was another reason the friendship suffered. By the time Zayn left that band you could tell he couldn’t stand Liam. I also believe that Liam expected Zayn help during his solo career. Liam always said, even after the band, that Zayn and him have similar music taste and they’ll sound amazing together which I can agree. The sad thing is that Zayn couldn’t help him. Zayn barely helped himself. That man made amazing albums and promoted once. I can see Liam being pushy because he had a vision and Zayn saying no because he doesn’t care for the fame. The complete opposite of Liam. Y’all shippers need to stop going by old cropped videos and go by reality. This was an amazing reading. She was spot on. They weren’t in love. By the end of 1D they weren’t even talking. They looked up to each other though.

@@sooojazzy You can't discredit what I said by calling me a shipper because as I said I don't ship anyone and anything today, that was 10 years ago when the band was still a thing, I see this differently now. And it's funny because the only people who claimed that Zayn and Harry were still close were the Zarries, many people thought that Zayn and Harry weren't friend anymore at all, as Zayn was pro-Palestine and Harry was cosplaying as a pro-Israel Jewish person. Zayn isn't a hypocrite, he wouldn't pretend a friendship so if he didn't like Liam at the end Liam knew. So I don't see how he would expect Zayn to help him with his career knowing that Zayn couldn't stand him

@ I’m not discrediting you because you were a shipper, I’m saying that none of that was facts. After a year of being in that band Zayn and Liam were not close. Zayn couldn’t stand Liam and Liam didn’t like him neither by year three. The last year they didn’t hide anything. They showed that they didn’t like to be beside each other. When the band ended it’s not surprising that they would get back in touch. Liam actually said that he had talked to Zayn after he left. One of the few that actually did because everyone else was mad at him for leaving. Liam stayed cordial. He gave Zayn a shout out at the awards as well. Liam temper tantrum lets us know that he has unresolved issues with Zayn. I truly don’t care about being a ship but what I can say is that there’s no way people can ignore the fact that Zayn and Harry were very close in 2014 until Zayn left he was always with Harry. I’m guessing it’s because they were the two that wanted to leave and they had that in common. The last three weeks Harry was giving Zayn the evil eye and just acting nasty for some reason. Harry was also the only one that showed that he truly cared about Zayn well being when he looked like death. I don’t like how Harry changed on Zayn after he left but maybe it could’ve been because he was hurt. I feel like Zayn was over everybody including the fame. My only point was don’t act like they were the best of friends/ boyfriends when they had more tension than a love story. Even the characters you put on them is false. Liam partied and Zayn was a homebody. This reading said more about their friendship than what you said.

@@sooojazzy I don't even understand why you keep bringing up "partying" as I haven't said anything about partying and especially never said Zayn enjoyed partying ?? Also Liam brought up a few times that he didn't have Zayn's number so ? He even commented on a Zayn Instagram post asking him to answer one of his dms. We'll just not agree about Harry caring about Zayn in the end, it's crazy because I wouldn't argue with someone saying Zayn was closest to Louis for example, but saying Zayn and Harry were closest is crazy, even my super OT5 timeline would bring up being worried about Zayn and Harry not getting along over Palestine/Israel views. Not long after Zayn left he even said "Me and Harry never really spoke", something he absolutely never said about Liam. You can literally not deny this, it caused so much drama in the 1D fandom

I tend to agree since they were set up bandmates. But also they all probably formed a unique bond together, seems to be one of those things were you don't know how you will act unless you are in the situation.
