When you take into account Wolfwood's past, his decision to kill a "demonic" child takes on new meanings. There's no question adult Wolfwood would've offed adolescent Wolfwood with the same little hesitation.
@willia3r2 жыл бұрын
In the manga, Wolfwood actually aged prematurely due to the superhuman enhancement treatments from the _"Eye of Michael"_ organization that adopted and trained him. So actually from a mentality standpoint he is a teenager.

In a clever way as well, as Chapel wouldn't have willingly shot Wolfwood. Knives and Legato conspired to kill Wolfwood as soon as he adoptedV Vash's methods to break Vash even further.

Because it's more realistic that way. Usually anime would bend over backwards and commit to outlandish forgiveness lessons, meanwhile Trigun is like "there's nothing wrong with being nice and not wanting to hurt, but the world isn't that simple...."

man, compared to the manga version, Zazie the Beast here got done dirty, he/she is actually the last Gun Ho Gun to die and carried way more of the plot then any other member of the group (not counting Legato)
@AesirUnlimited Жыл бұрын
This is a sad scenario. On one hand, Wolfwood was probably right. Zazie the Beast was likely beyond saving. But maybe Vash and the others showing him empathy and kindness would be enough to make him change. Maybe he’s lived his whole life as a “monster” without anyone to care for him. Perhaps he could be good if he felt like he belonged. Neither decision is entirely right or wrong.

No one was really in any danger, is the worst part. Zazi may have been a Gung ho gun, but in that moment he was a 10 year old with a gun. There were probably like 10 different ways for Vash to disarm him if it came to that, all still without killing him But killing is Wolfwood's first reaction to these scenarios, it's just that ingrained in him.
