Just use only 1 resistor. Then the battery discharge within 500mA current. And i can promise that error 3 will not show again and capacity test will work.

@souravchakraborty4571 No, Not all appliances need high discharge rate batteries. For example, In led light, rechargeable fan 500ma is more than enough but if you are using it in a powerbank than high discharge current is very important.

@@koushikdey997 A TP4056 module max charging current 1A/sec. If the battery discharge rate is less than 1A does that also means it will recharge with less than 1A/sec current?

@souravchakraborty4571 No, Imput and output currents are different. Every 18650 cell should be capable of ≤ 1A at least. Good quality cells support higher input current. But how it works is, if we say max charging current is 1A, then when the battery is fully drained, it will start charging at 1A but as the charging progresses and battery starts it gell full the charging ampere gradually gets lower. When finishing charging it gets very low like 200mA-300mA .

Error 5. After a calibration attempt, where at the end (2 Amp) I think I had more than 15v of power supply, when I pressed OK, the calibration was not carried out and now I always get "error 5" when I try to do the test. The display shows the battery voltage for a brief moment when I turn on the circuit, but quickly starts to indicate 00.00V. Please help. thanks

Attached 5v for module power. For Error 5 off module power wait 5-10sec then On the module power.

@@redhtech I've also got error 3. I was using two 5w7o5J resistors in parallel then I connect the resistors in series. The error got removed and it started to drain 0.220A current
