He was a world class leading forward player. What an extreme speed and acceleration he used to have....! And he covered the ball perfectly. Defenders simply could not steal the ball from him, and yet he had an absolute high level game intelligence. Knew everything about football in his head, and in his feet. Nowadays, in the era of internet, he would be a worldwide famous legend. Now he is simply "A Legend". :) But what happened to the Polish football? Back in the '70s and '80s they used to have fantastic teams and players.... since then a lot has changed.

Posiblemente el mejor jugador polaco de todos los tiempos. Triunfó durante años en la mejor y más difícil liga del mundo en aquel momento, Il Calcio. Más completo y con más talento que Lewandowski, Zibi podía jugar en cualquier posición de la delantera y también como mediocampista ofensivo. My dad met him accidentally in Vatican, he was surrounded by nuns asking him to sign their prayer books. When my dad realized this is him he said "cześć Zbyszek!" and Zbyszek replied "Cześć!" It was so amazing experience for my dad, Boniek was a football superstar, he was like Messi today. Dad is so happy until today :)

È vero questa definizione gli venne data dall Avvocato Gianni AGNELLI RIP che spesso riusciva ad esaltarsi negli incontri serali spesso di coppa ma non era sempre vero !!!! Boniek fece anche delle prestazioni molto convincenti anche nei pomeriggi di campionato , però è vero che quando sentiva l'aria di Coppa era spesso più tonico e determinato !!!!! Disappointing how Juventus hadn't had more European Cup opportunities as only one team per domestic league can participate back then. Trappatoni's Juventus were arguably the only squad that can go toe to toe against the mighty Liverpool and perhaps surpass them had they played more often (Roma was inconsistent and Hamburg fell short in the mid 80s). Boniek and Platini's midfield combo were superior to any team else in Europe at the time.
