Nagato and Mutsu were the most powerful battleships in the world from 1920-1940. Perhaps the Bismarck class surpassed them overall in 1940, but still not in firepower. Soon after in 1941 the US had the North Carolina class. Even at the end of 1941 Mutsu was among the very best in the world along with Bismarck and USS North Carolina. Nagato class is one of the most beautiful battleships of all time too and this modeler did amazing work.

Hello!! Thank you for watching. I wish I could make English subtitles, but it's difficult. When I was a student, I didn't study hard. Sorry.

Yes, the Japanese had beautiful ships in their navy, including the heavy cruisers, I definitely can say my favorites are the Kongos, but they were all beautiful.🇺🇸👍

Hello. Thank you for watching and nice comment! I'm glad you enjoyed this video.
Seconds before disaster... (12:12pm, June 8th, 1943.) In all seriousness. Amazing work. I'm aware of photo etching kits for various models, but had no idea how extensive they could be until watching this and some other videos recently.
Hi, His work is really fantastic, I hope some time to make a video building a boat of this quality. Congratulations.

@@zbok In my country it is very expensive to buy models, that is why I work with 3D printing. I acquired the stl files to print to Yamato, but I have to make some modifications to them since they are for resin and I have an FDM printer

Доброго времени суток! Ого, большая работа проделана и великолепно! =) Правда, когда на первых минутах был показан уже собранный корабль, мне показалось что он метр или больше. А оказалось всего-то 30 - 40 см. =)

@@zbok yeah, maybe. Even so, that's a marvellous ship. Really well done 👍. Where do you buy all these photo-etched parts? I cant find them...

I buy most of the parts from Amazon. There is a link in the summary section of the video. But, Since the stock is not stable, it is often out of stock.
