What I saw that are as valuable as the other 2 useful vids on Groot: -Utilise ramp to hit easier shots at times -Swap to your main... -... make Sam say stuff on your main? idk -switch back to Groot -Funnel with ironwall and then utilise sideways walls for a short living yet useful choke -Ult Adam ult Those vids taught me: -Melee weave in between primary. -Double walls to block movement, vertical n lateral. -Sometimes hide Ironwall for constant hp. -Ult a wall you place behind them. -Try to take fights into multiple walls if you can set one up (one to the side pull back and get another out to trap deal double dmg if you can, kinda hard to utilise really) -Moonknight Groot ults are a cool combo

I wish the tank category was more interesting in general. The movement tanks like hulk, venom, and cap all seem really interesting but feel kinda clunky like Cap having 12 sec cooldown on both his movement abilities,one of which is completely useless for anything besides getting out of a dive, venom doing so little damage, and hulk just underperforming overall. Thor’s kinda interesting and fun but I feel like his kit is kinda clunky and doesn’t mesh well with how strong his awakening ability is and how weak everything else is in comparison, especially his ultimate, which is probably the worst in the game. And then there’s Peni, Strange, Groot and Magneto, which I personally find get old really quick once you figure out their gameplay loops and all seem to have super low skill ceilings. I can’t watch Strange or Magneto gameplay for more than a few minutes on YT without getting bored. Magneto Strange feels just like double shield from OW 1, except people don’t complain about it in Rivals because the game is so fresh and it’s not completely unbeatable.

@@D_Jilla At top level play or in tournaments, with hero bans, the right comp, and team synergy he’s great, similar to venom, but in just about every other situation he’s pretty awful. His ultimate is pretty bad, his melee does no damage, and his stun makes it so that only he can damage people that get hit by it while it’s active for some reason. The main reason he gets banned so much in top level play is because of his iron man team up. He simply relies on his team way too much. He’s not a carry tank that can make miracles happen like Strange or Magneto and that makes him rough to play at lower ranks

Is it possible to ult, then create a back thornlash wall to catch the ult? It’d be a high skill ceiling but if you pulled it off the combo would go hard and if not, you still put it behinf foes being hit with tock damage then they get slashed by the walls when the ult procs tick damage. I’m just in bronze and sadly i have other life priorities but it’d be cool to see be pulled off in real time.

Totally! You can create a thornlash wall behind sometime and then ult the wall, using it as a backboard. Combine that with the standard primary-bomb-primary combo and it’s an easy 435 damage in almost an instant.
