Doom ult feels worse bc after the nerf of its ult 1 season ago they added 10% more to every ult. So it takes even longer for you to build it. It heals less than before since u have more hp, and does less damage since everyone has more hp

His ult feels worse cause of the health increase. Before doom had 450hp and his ulted 75hp per sec in the air for a total of 300hp, now since you have 550hp technically if you are 1hp and you ult, youre coming back down with 301hp (plus some overhealth from damage with abilities) but youre missing a whole 250hp vs 150hp with old health

They buff everyone HP but doom fist ultimate damage didn’t change, so that another passive nerf to doom fist. At this point, they should just give it a twenty second cooldown like any other basic ability.

@@Popejohn3 that is technically true but at the same time every other character has wiggle room with damage values while doom fist as a character doesn’t. Most of doom fist damage lives on scale and it isn’t a hard number like most other characters, so break points actually matter a lot with the character. This exact same thing happened when Mcree alone got a 25 hp buff which basically made him literally unkillable unless you perfectly dived him or got chip damage from somewhere else and now everyone in the game got that buff or more. This isn’t even counting all the healing and damage reduction/negation effects in the game, so this might actually be the worst time ever to play Doom fist.

@@nick25oo yeah but dooms punch got scaled so his breakpoints remain mostly the same. Also dooms ults value is usually the reset plus empowers punch/slow not the dmg.

@@Popejohn3 Another technically true statement that isn’t actually true in reality. they boosted the maximum damage and that difference matters because no doom fist is really max charging his punches in the middle of the fight, so in most cases it a 5-10 damage boost at best which is way less then the 25HP or more plus buff every character got. The kill breakpoints even before the HP buff was still bad because you needed to be basically perfect to get kills anyway and that only became worse. Doom fist is a bad hero that is getting carried by great players and that was always true. I am also not saying doom fist ultimate doesn’t have any value because it obviously does but it value is way less the other characters ultimates and even some characters basic abilities. When most doom fist players use his ultimate as a pure escape ability or forget to use it then there is a problem and that point it just better off as a basis ability that can be use every minute.

doom ult worse because of the global health increase. They should at least make it where the closer the enemy is to the center of the ult on impact, the more slowed their movement becomes for around like 3 or 4 secs. Even for mobility abilities like brig bash or tracer blink, make it so they don’t travel as far. That way at least the team can try and follow up to get kills.

@@user-nn1fx1nc7e spoken like a true bronze player. It’s a get out of jail free card that lets you reset a good portion of hp, all cool downs and do aoe damage upon landing into their backline. It definitely helps win fights which is all ults are supposed to do. Edit: seriously, go and watch the last 5 uploads by zbra and see how many ults he used offensively vs using it to “escape a fight”. You are objectively wrong. Also I’m not sitting here trying to say doom has the best ult in the game, just that value wise it’s not bad. We can blame blizzard for giving supports insane ults that make the others seem like jokes.

They feel safe going in because of the charge, the real problem is that they should've known it wouldn't work specifically on zbra. Then again if he's on his smurf they probably didn't recognize him
