I find the trick to playing Rein against a really good Doomfist is to switch to another tank.

From dooms perspective you just baited charges and killed their isolated squishies while avoiding rien as much as possible. As Rien you need to hit charges on doom once he goes in and use your charge against his punch because if you both fall its good for you as well as not get too aggressive or risk getting punched into dooms team.

@@andreastom1755 I disagree. I play a very aggressive doom, and Id say season 1 doomfist is stronger than now because his kill potential and kill timing is a lot easier than now. That stun and 1 second off charge punch did wonders for killing supports. He was definitely way less tanky though than now.

Doom is basically a hard counter to Rein. Any dive tank just goes past the big guy and destroys the backline, and Rein can't do a thing about it except get sad when his supports are all dead.
