This does not work for me, my meshes just merge together or when I have "Groups" active in the Dynamesh settings then the IMM Insert Cylinder just dynameshes seperately aswell but there is nothing happening like this simple boolean operation. I use the 2022 version. Please help

i guess it depends on your zbrush version. This one is an older one. Could work in a new version as well, but i bet there are other ways and tools to get the results now :) Try it out, but have an open eye for other techniques as well. There are always more than one way to do things.

need more info to help - maybe zbrush version is too low for the trick - maybe you have subdiv layers - maybe your mesh is broken - maybe you have hidden subtools - maybe you clicked wrong etc..

@@RowCat first my zbrush version is 2019 and the second which i figured out that i dont have a hollow cylinder in my primitives but dont know i followed the same steps just like your but its not happening
