For my ZBrushers. Ever found it difficult to get really clean, crisp edges in Zbrush? maybe the form gets muddy?
When I was in school, a friend told me that all ZBrush modelswere just blobby... and, at that time, he was kinda right.
This little tutorial takes a look at some of the ways we can get more control over our edges in the new ZBrush.
Hope this little tutorial helps you on your journey. :)

Hi Ryan, Can you kindly share with us, the easiest way to make gears, cog wheels, springs, screws and bolts. I am still looking for the most poly smart and editable version. I tried, 3D Alfa and found it be non symmetrical & hi-poly dependent. ZModeler has some edge holding limitations. Array mesh tends to become a trial and error method. I do not wish to depend on Modo as it is getting very expensive to keep upgrading.

At 5:23 why does it come out as a clean line and not 2 points. Is that just how that click happened to work out or where you doing something to make that work.

This would be useful with masking, mask the area you want flat and then use transpose, beyond that not very useful.

Buddy, some constructive crits here. Not trying to be a hater or to be mean. But man you talk too much. Get to the point. Reason being, by the time many of us take to youtube, we are frustrated with a problem. We search on how to solve it, and we click on a video where the thumbnail and title seem right. Then we have to sit through your history lesson, but I just needed to know how to properly flatten a surface. Then several minutes in you do your big reveal - which proved useless to my particular situation. I just wish I had known that instead of wasting my time.

Well.... I have to be straight with ya. Don't want to be fake here. I don't make videos just for you and what you want. I make videos because I want to change peoples lives. So sit through it, don't sit through it... all good... but I'm not gonna tell you how history is the key to actual learning and you don't tell me how to teach. Deal?
