I started watching only a few months ago (bored and was browsing Netflix). I liked and knew Minho because of Shinee and know of V from BTS so I started watching Hwarang and experienced Korean drama for the first time. I give it 8/10. Park Hyungsik caught my attention in this. Good looking bloke and there is just something very charismatic about him that makes you keep looking back at him. I really like his role in Hwarang. V was okay.

Well, at that stage in his life he wasn't really acting as much as being pretty much being himself. He was perfectly cast as if the role/character was based ON him. I find a lot of satisfaction in knowing that real life bromances are still going strong and this drama played a big part (pun intended!) in bringing the guys together.

As ridiculous and historically incorrect as this drama was, it was super fun and so adorable. I was so proud of MINHO and V: they did SUCH A GREAT JOB as newbies to the acting field. HYUNGSIK was flawless & the chemistry between him and SEO-JOON was stuff of legends. You could see how much those two loved each other in RL by their on-screen chemistry alone. I wanted a sequel solely for exploring that brotherhood even further. So good.
