No one like him. Probably the best song writer of our time bar none. Under rated is an understatement. His lyrics are so incredibly thoughtful. His voice was beyond compare. Even today when I play his stuff for people they still say, "Who's that?". Bewildering to me. I listen to him nearly every day.

This is exactly, I mean word for word exactly what I saw at So's Your Mother in Des Moines, Iowa in 1985! The lineup is right. Even the clothes they wore. My all-time favorite concert!

No Other is my favourite album and I say that as a Neil Young fanatic.

Good call. I agree. My top three will always be Gene, Neil, and John Lennon.

I was here for this .. sadly the person who filmed this and the person who paid for the 24 track remote recording lost touch. The audio sucks on this as it is from the video guy. He told the audio guy (my friend) that these tapes disappeared .. sad as it was recorded over 2 days and with the 24 track audio, this would have been fabulous.

Did Blondie Chaplin, the old Beach Boy, and the later Rolling Stone guy play on this one? Mr Gene Clark was the one of the best song writers, of all time. This song is from "No other", a failure, according to the record company, but a success, if u ask us listeners.

No Other was never given a chance to get out. Killed by Asylum. Possibly we’re even lucky it ever got released at! 😟

It's from a the Stone San Fransico, CA april 20 1985 gig. The FBB and The 20th anniverseray to the Byrds tribute Band and Paul Butterfield, Greg Harris is in both gigs. It is awesome but alas the last song Knockin' On Heavens Door is missing on my footage video. Hope someone rises.

The whole gig is a blast. Better quality and/or the missing song Knockin' On Heavens Door would be the cherish on the pie.
