When you plug it into your device the blue light will turn on. Long press mute button for noise cancelling

I am trying to set this mic up and it will record my voice very clearly, but not the hand drum that I am playing, even if I put the mic right over the drum. Anyone know why?

@@TheTriniGuhl only the front upper part of the mic where the buttons are is where the actual mic is at. Anything behind it probably won't get picked up. It's not an Omni Directional
