Interesting. Make sure you check you sound settings to ensure that the microphone shows up.

Thanks for the video. If I need to use Smule etc, whats the best way to connect? Should I connect iPad/Smule to AUX port, and my speakers to Headphones port? Where does the recording device get connected and whats the best recording device in this setup?

Should be a simple plug in. Make sure your computer operating system is updated. You’d be surprised that that can be the culprit
