Starry flounder are good eating fish. A lot of people like it more than california halibut. The biggest one I've caught was over 20 inches. Looking forward to your kayak fishing.

Thanks Moo! Kayak videos coming soon, starting with bass. Still getting things figured out, including the gopro mount. Seems pretty wobbly so far 🤷♂️

My kids and I have caught flounder in the mouth of the Clackamas river. Crazy as hell seeing them up there.

The first thing I did with my Dock Demon was tossed the reel and slap on a Sedona 500. Match made in heaven. Nice flounder, BTW.

I’ve caught 2lb rockfish and abused that reel pretty good. I’m surprised how well it’s held up.

Starry Flounder can grow to 20 lbs. Most fish are 12 to 14 inches and the young are intertidal.

The river looks pretty healthy with all the different species. Someone needs to grease up the pinch points on that dock. Just kidding. More kayak fishing sounds great!

Thanks Steve! Yeah, that squeak was brutal at times, I tried to edit out the bad parts. Kayak videos on the way!

So back in 2019 when we got laid off from the Coronavirus I decided to make the most of it and take a canoe trip/ Expedition down the Edisto River. The first night I tossed out two dock demons and after making up my Camp I realized one of them was no longer there. I reeled the other doc demon in into my surprise there was the first document that went missing! When I reeled in that one to my further surprise there was a catfish larger than the dock demons LOL the thing is a badass fishing rod right there I don't know how much that catfish weighed but it definitely should not have been able to handle it with that line
@NorthwestOpenSeason2 жыл бұрын
That’s quite the story! They are fun little rods for sure, and from what I can tell, super durable.
