Zebegény (Slovak: Zebegíň) village in Pest County, Szob District. It is located in the northern part of Pest County, in the Danube Bend, at the beginning of the breakthrough valley of the Visegrád Gorge, on the left bank of the Danube, between Nagymaros and Szob; opposite it lies Pilismarót in Komárom-Esztergom County. It can be reached by the electrified main railway line between Budapest and Szob, or by main road 12, from which road 12 107 branches off towards Márianosztra. It is also accessible by boat on the Danube in summer, and by ferry from Pilismarót all year round (the ferry ramp here is considered a municipal road, its counterpart on the other side has the road number 11 324). It is located on the western side of the southern Börzsöny Mountains, on the banks of the Malom stream.
