Note: the colors of the nodes bear the color of the input port they connect to.

1:55 “It’s three tabs of nonsense” - my thoughts exactly! xD Thanks for breaking down the nodes! Especially for shedding light on the pink and purple ones; with their colours being so close, I hadn’t spotted the difference on the little plug-in-squares. If I’ve got it right: Seafoam Green Nodes - dictate the size of the ‘world’ the particle system will inhabit. Sprite Emitter (pink) - controls how the particles will behave, and has room for a drawing layer to house the artwork you want to make particles of. Pink Nodes - modifiers for the particles’ actions. Particle System Composite (blue) - streamlines information from the above nodes into the Baker. Particle Baker (yellow) - Controls pre-roll, and has the final say on how many particles “make it through the portal” into your scene, regardless of what the Sprite Emitter is programmed to produce. Particle Visualizer (purple) - Enables information within the particle network above it to enter your scene, something akin to a portal connecting two realms. Looking forward to next week’s addition to the tutorial! : D

Thanks you for this!! Particles were so scary opening them up by myself. Its really great even just so far to have an introduction to what all these things are and break them down individually
