Yes I switched to these fountains because my birds do that too - but luckily there is a filter in there to clean up the water before the next go around.

These birds have a super sweet and docile temperament...BUT BEWARE. Those cute little noises ARE LOUD and constant xP I had two once....and as much as I loved them, once they passed....nope.
