If you look at where all the writing is, there’s an abbreviation that looks like a serial number for each color. For example Mild Smoke Blue says MSB that’s for both the US and Japanese versions.

I have had the cool and warm sets for almost three years and they have finally given up on me! Pretty amazing considering I was using them for school, work and planning and yes both ends get blunt (I am NOT heavy handed) over time, but they are amazing highlighters! FYI for all Aussies: you can get all 25 sets from Pulp Addiction either on their website or on Amazon AU. They are selling the full 25 set for AUD $55.50! Cheapest you will find! I like the cool and refined set, but I may never buy them because I'm trying to be more of a minimalist when it comes to BuJo supplies. I'm finally starting to use up the stuff from my 20+ year old stash. I do tend to wonder about how colors from different brands compare to each other though, like how does the "dark blue" Mildliner compare to the Tombow 533 in color? On camera, they both seem vaguely periwinkle-esque. It might be an interesting video sometime to try finding cross-brand color dupes.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the smoke blue belongs in the cool and refined set and the dark blue belongs in the warm and deep set (at least that's how mine came) *also I'm not criticising your video it's just something I wanted to point out

So I am obviously behind on videos because of the cahos here. I finally had a minute to get causght up while i am working in my office and I am CACKLING right now. I literally just swatched the entirety of the Mildliner collection. Like I was putting them away post swatching when this video autoplayed. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 My favorites are the Blue Green (obvs cause Tiffany Blue), the Gray, the Coral Pink, and the Summer Green. The first 3 being my favorite color combo. And the colors are on the pens! If you look at the side near the UPC on the very bottom line, there is a code that's WKT7-(COLOR) the color is an abbreviation, MSG is Mild Summer Green, MMGO is Mild Marigold, etc.

I had some of the originals and gave them away b/c I wasn't using them. Much later I spotted them being sold individually @ Michael's and picked up the light gray and the brown. I love the light gray. Now I may have to pick up a couple of the newer colors. Thanks for the review, Cindy!

I love my mild liners!! I don't have the 2 new sets, but after watching your video, they are a must for me. My least favorite set is the fluorescent. They are perfect for calendar blocking in my Erin Condren hourly. I can color code for meetings, appointments and things like that. I hope you are feeling better!! :-)

I have used the florescent pack at for 6 months HEAVILY :-) and I really like them. I'd say this video is pretty accurate. If you use them for highlighting handwritten things (pen or pencil), they do smudge a bit, but it's not too bad. The pink one is beginning to run low on ink but I use it every day (A LOT). I do agree that after a while, the fine tip begins to fray and I do not recommend mixing tips even though it looks cool because it does mess up the marker. Overall, I recommend these!

i finally got my hands on these!! i got them from NBS (a local store in ph) but individually. there are a lot of colors in the SM branch and only a few in the TriNoma one. i got five for PHP400 this one time in TN, 3 for PHP240, and another five today at SM for PHP400 again. they're pretty good

I'm was slow; to catch on and bought two Mildliners from Michaels' this spring. Thank You for this through review. I found the set of 25 on Amazon for $24. They'll be here Wednesday.I think there are some minor differences in the Japanese sets vs some I guess were made for the USA. The two I have (spring green and apricot) has the color written on them. The set I bought looks like it also has written on but if it doesn't, I have your swatch page. Thank You Again! It may have been Ganchi Plans video where she highlighted first then wrote on top of the highlighting.

There Are differences in the Mildliner pens made in Japan vs the first two I bought are made in Mexico. I have no issues about where they were made, I just want to know the names of the colors. My planner is color coded so I use the right edge of my daily page to index the category of information on that page; health is purple, family light pink, genealogy is blue, financial is green and others. I Had been using Staedtler Fineliners to do this but decided I wanted the same colors but in highlighters. So now, as I stated before, I'm glad to have your video to identify the colors for me. The Japanese colors vs the Mexican colors are the same color identifiable by holding next to each other. But there is Nothing on the Japanese set, the pens or the packaging that identify what color is this that I'm using to match the Fineliners. mof, I don't don't have names for some of the Fineliners. I will just name them the same color as whatever is the Mildliner color is. Once again, I appreciate your through review.

Mildliners are awesome! I also like the Stabilo ones because of the mint and red colors available - you don’t get those two colors in other standard highlighter sets. Maybe if you reviewed them, you’d find uses for them? I use these in my time color coding in my bujo where it’s useful to have more than the 6 standard highlighter colors. I also use them for daily headers, not just to highlight things, and the quality is great.

lizziesf87 I agree - for so long I really wanted these and when I finally got them I felt like they were still too saturated colorwise to use as a highlighter and there was bleed through. I have one set of 5 and dont have plans to really buy another pack. I tend to use a color pencil or a pastel tombow to highlight now. 🤷‍♀️
