I just bought the Scribbles fineliner set from WalMart and I love them! Bright colors and they were inexpensive - about $12 for the pack of 24! I think you will like those more than these ones!

I got these fine liners at staples for about a $1 per (bought individually: black, purple, blue, red, orange, green). The colors are indeed muted, however since I'm using these pens for Draw a Box, which is a progression of drawing exercises, the most important aspects for me are smoothness, comfort, and bleed through. Since these are great in those categories, I absolutely love these pens.

They looked so vibrant in the package, but were so VERY disappointing. Half the pens have such light ink you can hardly see them and I'd never use them. Totally agree with your first impression. So glad I saw this before purchasing them. Thanks, Cindy! :)

I did a half color coloring sheet putting my sarasa fineliners on half and bic intensity on the other and yeah the Sarasa's are VERY muted. Especially considering intesity is a great name for colors ur geting with the bic fineliners

I wish I had seen this review before I just got mine. I thought maybe I'd gotten a bad batch or they were dried out a bit because they're so light/transparent.

Thank you for this review. I just bought the individual pink one and when I tried it it was so pale that I thought there was something wrong with the pen. Your review shows me that the whole set is pale and muted. I am also disappointed, but fortunately I only bought one pen not the whole set.

They remind me of the mildliners colors. They are kind of pastel-y. I like them!

Do you think you could do more 0.8 fineliner impressions? I don’t plan but I love watching your paints and fineliner reviews as an artist, however I noticed that most of your fineliner reviews are based around 0.4 or 0.3, and I prefer a thicker tip, so it would be neat if you could do some of those, also my current fineliners the Staedtler triplus broadliners I suggest you check out.

Yeah I was kind of rooting for these pens as well but so far I’m loving the stabilio pens!! Not another pen has really swayed me in that same group of pens..Absolutely love the way they write & look, feel.. everything!!! Little off the subject I was watching a couple of your older videos, back in August of last year you tried a WRIGHT planner and I just wanted to get your input about the 2018 version?? if you would be willing to try that out in July?? it looks pretty cool, they got quite a few different options for the interior now, And honestly I haven’t really heard about the planner itself so I thought maybe I’d see how you’d feel about trying that out again??? 🤔🤔🤔🤔

I actualy like that they're muted. I use the gray one as my main pen in my bujo. Different strokes I guess. Glad to see the comparisons though.

Hobby lobby has a new set of fineliners that i just seen when i was there i like the way they look but havent tried em yet, the big set is $20 but with a coupon they would only be $12 which is cheap!

You should try the SHUTTLE ART FINE LINER pens you can buy the pack of 100 on amazon and they are very nice I use them for note taking ( also they are cheap around $25 for 100 unique colors that don't bleed through)

Please try the Schneider Topliner 967s, I love those. There are 10 colors and are pretty inexpensive (at least here in the Philippines, the 10 pack is around $6 but in Amazon it's $10)

I was really excited at first. The color on the caps had me, but then when you started swatch them, I thought your lighting was off. At last it wasn’t, they were just that muted. ☹️

Hahaha there's no bleed through because there's no friggin pigment! I laughed at that part. It's so true. What a disappointment!!!

Oh man. This was such a let down. I was SO excited over some serious zebra pen p0rn. And now...I know what guys feel like after a girl lets 'em cop a feel during a heavy make out session and then suddenly has to go home and study. :D I have a bunch of the zebra midliners as well as the retractable ball points, and I love those. I think I'll skip these. :(

Absolutely agree. Total disappointment! I like my pens to have saturation. I wanted to love them but the black wasn’t even a dark black. Whomp!
