Such a great scene. I like that this dialogue shows how ED is very much about control.

The Adam story being brought up is perfect for Honey to get through to Ben. He never thinks he deserves the grace in his life. His daughter, his husband, his friends. And the world keeps perpetuating that lie. Even his own graces can be guilty of doing so unknowingly. But it's like this thing I once read about somewhere about the concept of catholic grace (promise I won't get preachy, I'm looking at it through an objective lens). God gives grace as something to be given but not earned. You didn't have to earn that grace. There was no exchange of good or services to get it. Like think of you getting a Christmas present from your friends. You don't get them because they're solely expecting one back. You get them because they love you. And Ben is very much loved. He shouldn't have to feel guilty for that.

I remember hearing that exact same thing about grace. It's hard for somebody to understand that but I hope callum will help him to learn to accept grace

I hope this storyline will help other people who suffer from an eating disorder

This reminds me of the Hannah and Rhys scene on Hollyoaks. It's important to cover this on different shows so it can be seen by people dealing with the same issue or who are worried about someone going through it.

As a person going through an eating disorder, and one of the worse mental illnesses (anorexia) its so hard to watch.

Its time Eastenders gave Ben a break now! He's always got drama it's time to let him be for a bit. He needs yo get help for his ED so he can be a good Dad to Lexi. That's what he owes to Lexi and Lola but most importantly himself. Tbh I wish Callum would leave Ben he's never been happy with him. Ben is better on his own
