Thanks Collin! The SC600w you see in this video is often carried that way. I usually put it in a smaller pocket, inside a pack. Often times its in there with another flashlight or a ferro rod, or even a folding knife. I've never had anything break or scratch the lens or anodizing. I used to be apprehensive to carry my flashlights like this but I've since over come that. They're much tougher than you would think...

Nice overall size, I recently picked up a nitecore EA4 & went into a cave with it. Great light, lower cost, but larger physical size. Great review

To continue, the tints on mine are really great. A good neutral white, a little toward the warm side, which looks crazy nice with the high output of this light with am XM-L2.

It seems not, as I've seen some reports of bad green tints, and a good amount of warmer yellows. I got mine from E2 Field Gear, and his batch is pretty consistent. I asked him to check for me. I picked up two, because the SC52 platform is by far my favorite light.

I dig these flashlight reviews Erik. One day I'll have to pick one of these up with as much as I love my other two Zebralights. Quick question...if I just throw the lights in my backpack with some other gear in one of the pockets do I have to be too worried about scratching the lens or damaging the light at all?

Nice video. You get one the SC52w's yet? It's pretty sweet. :)

No thank you...well I thank you, my wallet does not feel the same way, haha. And more so, thank you for answering the question. That's exactly the situation I was worried about. I had a small pocket with those exact things in it, and I was hesitant to just throw the SC52 in with them. Good to know it probably won't be a problem!

Hi nuts4knives, I just got a new sc600 mkii l2. I really like how you tied your paracord. What paracord knot did you use?

While I'm on the topic...I heard they have made the light so that even if the battery tube took on water, there's a seal to separate the tube from the head electronics, what's the point of going to that extent when the press fit head of the light isn't waterproof to begin with lol smh

so every time they update!you have to buy a new version of zebralight! i prefer just changing the drop-in's on my surefire 6P's and solarforce to update the LED's,1 mode 3 modes or 5 modes/1000 or 550 lumens! as the drop in's cost alot less money then having to keep investing in flashlights, more cost effective i think.

Just got my sc600 mkii....really liked the light, the anodizing on mine was a bit flakey around the head, could see tiny "stripes" of raw aluminum uncolored... Could have lived with that.....however, one simple dunk under water caused moisture under the lense, the light immediatly began cycling through modes on its own, had to remove the battery to turn it off, pretty disappointing for a light at this price point, maybe I got a dud, but my h600 mkii is flawless
