Has any Non-HS musician ever remixed a HS track? B-cause, no hatin, u did a good job Atmo... but I kinda feel like progressive house melodies are soo much simpler than hardstyle ones, so they (the others) could actually learn something from the HS community as well. Anyone else agrees?

So, the reason Hardstyle Artists are creating awesome remixes like this is because they have to. Big house, progressive house, and house in general has caught the attention of a wider audience. And the goal of any producer is to have their music reaching people. Not specifically anyone, but a large group. The larger the better, love it or hate it. Because the thing about people, is that even if they hate it, they'll probably talk about it at some point. You want to cast a wide net in hopes that you'll make new Hardstylers. I'm in the former group. I love and have loved Hardstyle since about 08. The easy way to show an artist you don't like something isn't to bitch about it online, or even start a reasonable, structured debate online. The way you change things is to show them you dislike it with your views, your play counts and your wallet. Don't buy it. Don't listen to it. If they play it at a show, welp, time to go get a drink and have a seat. As someone who used to produce, you notice and feel when work goes essentially wasted. I love the complexity of Hardstyle. The deepness that some of the simplest things about it can have. But complaining about producers branching out because they must isn't going to get us, as a community, anywhere. And to answer your question, LNY TNZ is a Trap producer who made a Hardstyle remix of Shotgun, and Yellow claw did a trap remix of Headhunterz - Colors. You just gotta be willing to look for it.
