Did you know that Troye Sivan was in Australia and just went inside the studio and sung his vocals without the actual sound. After the vocals recordings sent to Zedd, he later added the music and EDM as we know now. I'm in love with this song so much from the moment it got released.

god I love this song so much. It's deeply emotional, and every beat, lyric, and drop sounds like the progression of a story. It's dark and haunting, but also dancey, and it's got a feel entirely of its own. It's refreshing, and not a single part of it drags; every section flows into the next seamlessly, to the point where 7 minutes almost feels like not enough for this track. You can't get bored or tired of it at any point, and that's REALLY cool. I don't know how they did it. This song will always be one of my favorites.

@@chanceForNotBeingRapperLook I’m one of those that prefer Zedd’s EDM than his pop side. But you really can’t say that Beautiful Now is generic, it has more EDM vibes than Papercut. Papercut is more soft and more poppy so idk how can you come to that conclusion. Also if you’re a fan of an artist then you’ll love or at least respect the decision they’re making. If you love EDM then ok that’s your taste, go listen to his recent work like Die For You or Where You Are remix or heck if you want hardcore EDM then listen to his collab with Martin Garrix.

The humming in the background just adds to the song . And the beats just are , they just convey IDK they are like endless runs , like our lives , they revolve around the centre but without goals that are still aimless and there is still a pinch of wait in the beats . It feels like 'something' is just about to finish this wait ( 4:07 ). It's fascinating, it's like it connects the worlds of so many souls.

LYRICS♥ Now we're staring at the ceiling You're so pretty when you're mad All that I can hear is breathing Aah-aah-aah-aah-aah, aah-aah-aah-aah-aah And we're stuck inside the silence In a cold cold war We're too proud to say we're sorry Aah-aah-aah-aah-aah, aah-aah-aah-aah-aah Right now it feels like we're bleeding So deep that we might not get back up Our words will tear through the surface Like a paper, like a papercut Right now I don't know why I love you But by the morning when we wake up I'll reach for you and remember It was just a paper, just a papercut I find refuge in a distance Even when we're breaking down (down, down, down, down) Can't we pause it just for one kiss Aah-aah-aah-aah-aah, aah-aah-aah-aah-aah Cause I never meant to hurt you And I know you feel the same Still the only one I run to Aah-aah-aah-aah-aah, aah-aah-aah-aah-aah Right now it feels like we're bleeding So deep that we might not get back up Our words will tear through the surface Like a paper, like a papercut Right now I don't know why I love you But by the morning when we wake up I'll reach for you and remember It was just a paper, just a papercut Right now it feels like we're bleeding So deep that we might not get back up Our words will tear through the surface Like a paper, like a papercut Right now I don't know why I love you But by the morning when we wake up I'll reach for you and remember It was just a paper, just a papercut Just a paper, just a papercut Just a paper, just a papercut Just a paper, just a papercut Just a paper, just a papercut

One Of The Greatest Track Ever Troye Voice and zedd Is simple a legend
@vixxcelacea27788 жыл бұрын
One of the very few love songs if it can be called that, that I actually like, because this is what happens in many relationships. Papercuts hurt but they heal and accidents, nasty words, happen. I think it's part of the human experience.

I picture this song as two lovers, lying on opposite ends of the bed, and the song is his (Troye's) thought process. They both go from anger, to him asking himself exasperatedly why he even cares. No sound but breathing all the while. And then when he wakes up the next morning, common sense kicks in. Sleepy affection and romantic softness. There was no point to getting so worked up. Maybe he even said something that was biting, unkind. But arguments happen- _What you said hurt, but only for a second. Just a papercut._
@s70driver20055 жыл бұрын
I see it as 2 people who were in love but the relationship has run it's course. Even enough papercuts can kill someone or in this case a relationship. But as much as I love this song it reminds me of the hurt I've experienced in my relationships. Although I could be focusing more on the negative aspects of it.

Back in 2015, I was 15 years old when I heard this song for the first time... I was fascinated. Today 2022 at the age of 22, nothing has changed. Feeling of nostalgia, freedom and adventure. A true masterpiece that takes you to another dimension. Love you Zedd

So I've been listening to this song for a couple of months and I only realized now that the song is seven minutes long. Most of the songs I listen to are three minutes long, and I never noticed this song is like twice that length because this song is INCREDIBLE and ZEDD is a magician and this song can make me feel like time has frozen but at the same time is moving faster.
