I love the card, and allows you to get those moments where you can play things like tech cards. But it also allows the more toxic decks to have contingency plans, without having to mess up the consistency of their deck. It's part of the problem with the game, being able to do everything with every deck and not be punished for it.

What I personally don’t like about shadowstep is I feel like it constantly leads to the same degenerate style of decks for Rogue….any combo card or battlecry worth its salt becomes abused to no end because of that card. And it would be nice to see Rogue get some more interesting tools for one year.

Of the four OG old gods, only N’Zoth would he playable, and it’d be in armour-spam Arkonite Crystal decks. Yogg is too unreliable and too slow, Y’Shaarj is in a similar boat and doesn’t have TGT’s Recruit packages or Barnes to help him, and C’Thun is just a mess.

The legendary rush minion that gives linrams from the past should also discount by 1, it would be a solid buff for libram pally. But unfortunately libram gets destroyed by all the broken decks out right now. Cycle rogue, otk buff hunter, asteroid shaman, unkiliax druid, ect.

I think something cooler than Steam Cleaner or Geist would be a new tech card that destroys "Cast when drawn" cards. It could be put on a minion with good stats and it would only punish the autocast decks without harming potential archetypes like ones that shuffle cards into decks that need playing, less punishing towards the Espionage from Perils in Paradise for the memers out there.

Tech cards shouldn't just win a match up. I hate asteroid shamans but steamcleaner geist or what you suggest is just bad for the game. My take would be. "Battlecry:draw 5 cards from your opponents deck and then return them to your opponents deck."

I would love for shadowform to be reverted to its previous state and I don't even think that would be run in shadow priest as a 3 mana do nothing upgrade your hero power but it would be so great on the fun factor.

Tony, King of Piracy would be nice to see staying available in Standard, its just an amazing hard counter to Asteroids/Incindius Shenanigans. Also Algalon and Kologarn, though id be nice to not have Kologarn available for discovery with Marin, that's just insane mana cheat/value

Rotation is always a great change of pace. C tier decks get to shine. The meta game oddly gets slower due to less then optimal cards in decks. Likely due to fewer cards in the card pool. And best of all, old cards return!

I think Platebreaker will need to be put into the core set as a way to counter these massive armor arkonite starship decks. They may still have to nerf the defense crystal, but this will help. Massive armor decks will be broken and hated at some point next year, whether it is Druid, warlock etc. and they only run defense crystal.

I think bringing back bomb warrior would be great, for a whole year or until it’s not great considering they’re losing that annoying ogre with brann as well. Honestly, as long as they don’t get the amazingly terrible idea to bring back the normal Brann like they did previously for a season or whatever then I think whatever they do to switch up the corset would be great. I don't like the idea of making the Core set out of cards that revolve around a specific strategy like Jace or Librams. Since the idea of the Core set is to be a set of core cards that can help fill out your decks. The more niche a particular card is, the less likely it will actually be playable because it's unlikely that its specific archetype is going to get supported in the future sets.

Either way, adding anything Libram into the core set won't really do much outside pushing this one deck post-rotation and will be entirely useless for any other Paladin deck.

Jace isn't small niche at all though because like more half of DH (and warlock) spells are fell spell anyway. That's like calling Tess in Rogue too niche. It's different question whether he'll be good or not but there is no way he won't get more spell due to nature of class.

If DH has mostly just board clear/card draw fel spells (Which is what they currently have, with the few damaging fel spells rotating when the core set update occurs), then Jace would be useless. Jace was only run because the entire strategy around him involved OTKing with a bunch of replayed face damage/attack boost fel spells. Tess in Rogue is also niche. The fact that the only use she's had since she's been in the core set has been to use Maestra to become another class so Tess will replay Step/Breakdance to put herself back into your hand while also tossing out some Health Drinks (And even then, this entire strategy has been meme tier at best) is indicative of that. So even though Rogue has had plenty of "Burgle" options, she's still a niche card.

I don't think anyone pays attention but the HS team removes cards that NEED to be there becuase they plan on releasing the same card but ...again but change the name tweak the numbers but in essence does the exact same thing like all the weapon removal cards and the silences.MANY cards are repeats this is what happens when a game like this goes on too long they run our of ideas. The CORE set should have the answer cards that all classes need such as silences weapon removal but we need a lot more I'd like to see counters and what I call pre counters/mechanic eliminations.So obviously it would be tough to eliminate battlecries but we could ahve a card that says counter the NEXT battlecry played.The reason we need cards that PRE counter is becuase the game has no intraction there is no stack so everything is a free no risk play aside from the VERY few times you run into Mage counter or Hunter call that only works on spells.

Sherazin would be be so dead without a prep and shadowstep. Xaril stats are fine. Like Sonya is a 4 mana 3/3 and have a 100% winrate when played. So what's wrong with 3/2?

Why does rogue have to be identified as either the combo otk deck or the pirates hyper aggro deck? How about doing rogue/thief type of things, some of which it did before but now as an archetype, why not steal cards (I mean copy not actually steal that mechanic is annoying), maybe some sort of poison mechanic that slowly trickles down your opponent or their board? They can do some fun stuff with rogue, nobody enjoys playing against hyper aggro face decks, and few people enjoy facing OTK. They should give them interaction playstyles.
