I hope you all enjoy the video! I forgot to mention that in the Play As Dino V2 mod you CAN play as any creature in Ark, included all modded creatures that you have installed. For that you need to click the All button in the top left corner, however these creatures aren’t always balanced and won’t have as many things to do compared to the smaller Play As Dino list of creatures. Another creature roleplay mod which I didn’t include in this video is Pimp My Dino, which adds a few awesome looking saddles that look extremely realistic. As soon as you click on “Create new Dino” (in the first menu next to the creature list), in the top left there’ll two buttons side by side, “Play As Dino” and “All”. The “All” button will be faded out, but once you click it, it will fade in and you’ll unlock all the creatures. If you still can’t find the button make sure you’re in Version 2 and that the mod isn’t clashing with any of the other mods you have.

omg Dino Patrol looks insanely usefull! What immediately comes to mind is TEK dino farm. And this makes it so the babies can grow up before the dino that is patrolling comes around and eats them! more value! Anyone tried this?

I always like to set up platform saddles with auto turrets on for the Dino patrol. I use the quetz like a gunship lol

Do you happen to have better luck attaching a ladder to the second floor of the Viking thegn home? I spent the past three hours placing and replacing the house to try and line up well enough to add a ladder. I can’t zoom out far enough to see exactly where I placed the house. Did you turn on collisions?

When I placed my ladders on my Babylonian houses they went on instantly. I have the world settings so that I can place things into the terrain. You can pick up the house and try placing it again, but make sure that you havn’t placed any structures inside the house or else they’ll break. You’ll need to pick up all those structures first. Also it might be better to use the ladders from the mod, if you aren’t already.

I know I'm extremely late, but cross aberration is cool and all, until you realize crabs spawn EVERYWHERE where there's water, meaning the beaches aren't safe and it makes the game unnecessarily hard.

Play as DINO is discontinued and broken I have tried it and it crashes your game also the guy stopped working on it.

Yeah they do, but you can disable dino spawns in the .ini files

Just a tip for if you do another mod list like this. You started the video with a 15 twenty minute review of the worst mod in the video and what have learned is you have to start the video with a good entertaining mod Not saying i did not enjoy the video infact I really did and I really hated knowing that having a more boring mod at the beginning may have caused so people to click off.

The first mod I covered could be boring to some people, but it had a lot more mechanics compared to the other mods on the list, so I wanted to take the time to show how to use the mod, for the people who were interested in using it. I have timestamps which helps people skip to the next mod if they get bored of the first one I show, and if I look at my audience retention, it doesn’t drop too much while I show the first mod (so many people must be interested in the mod) and when the audience retention does drop, it picks up again at the next mod I show (meaning some people skipped past it). Since it’s a Top 5 and I keep the number 1 mod till last, people will be interested to see what the best mod is like, so they usually won’t immediately click off the video when one of the lower ranked mods get boring. However I definitely get your point, I also think that I spent too long explaining the first mod. And thanks for the advice! I will keep it mind for my next Top 5 Mods video, I’m glad that you enjoyed the video too!
