Kinda lol dragonsmith is more grindy/value based with all the one for one draws it has naturally built into the deck part of the reason I feel the deck just has a hard time hanging in this format is bc it naturally wants to play a grindier game bc the current format is just too fast for it to always keep up without relying on a lil of Rng

@@BeoTCG Curiously Divinez decks do tend to be more grindy, you wouldn't think it when the main gimmick is 1/Fight effects but decks like Rezael, actually Varga, even Welstra, and stuff like Direful Dolls and Valeno all favor going for long grindy games rather than going BRRR OTK in one turn

@@elin111 I understand the decks with the built in defensive mechanics are more grindy naturally but I’m more speaking in difference to varga which actually straight up had more powerful/faster turns

@@BeoTCG Varga is also included in those grindy defensive decks, it might not seem like it but Varga very much can be a grindy deck with the amount of ways it has to plus off retire & draw effects it has plus the option to recycle them of Shuura so if Varga fails the Divine turn or the opponent plays around it (which is very possible to do) Varga can also very much play the long game.

This deck either wins hard or crashes harder... There is no in-between. But low key a good deck if you want to catch someone unawares. The deck can have insane draw power when run with both Shenryi and Midhat plus the G2 that draws on attack and energy gauge. Some turns that you start with 3 cards in hand can turn into 11 pretty easily.
