If I remember correctly Karishma won Best supporting Actress for 'Dil to Pagal Hai'. Also one thing I believe is that award doesn't justify one as a good actor or bad actor. If any given year one has given a great performance but other actor/actress has given an outstanding performance most likely he/she should be deserving one. Karishma faced the odds like Kajol, Madhuri, Tabu who were better.

I am pleasantly surprised to see that a lot of deserving people have actually won the awards... I wasn't expecting tabu to win for astitva and Chandni bar... Urmila for bhoot... I mean they r pretty unconventional roles but i am happy to see it was awarded to them...also vidya balan for dirty picture and ishqiya... Very unconventional despite having kareena n priyanka nominated alongside.. Zee awards is more commendable than filmfare
