In China they sell updated version for 10 months already. It has many improvements - 800V system, more power, better music, physical steering wheel buttons, lidar and something else

the delay in Chinese models making it to Europe is really significant, with the speed of development in the Chinese automotive market, delays of 12+ months for models to show up in Europe makes the cars much less appealing

Is it also less thirsty?
@st48494 сағат бұрын
The better looking a car is the more thirsty it is apparently. I have an Ioniq 5 which I love, and I also love the looks of this Zeekr....but it's just as thirsty as my I5..

The infotainment and throttle configuration is enough to choose a Polestar 4 instead.

I wonder if the 140kwh Zeekr 001 will ever come to Europe and Norway, that thing was tested 1000KM CLTC range or 840KM of real range which is very impressive, despite how thirsty it was. We need new cars close to 1000km, and don't say, "When do you ever drive 1000km?" It's not about when I drive 1000km without a stop, of course, nobody does that, it's not about that at all, it's about the flexibility of having a big battery pack meaning you don't need to charge that often, even in colder weather conditions!
@MediaDevice013 сағат бұрын
That's a bit much. I'd rather 550km range with double heat pump for hyper efficient HVAC and battery temp management. An equivalent gas car with that much power may only get 480km on a tank of gas. Demanding better range from EVs is a bit much. Trucks can demand 1000 km just because towing cuts range in half, and charging a towing vehicle is significantly more cumbersome.

I know a person with this 140 kwh Zeekr, for him it lasts for about 700 km on highway. It’s should be noticed that 140 kwh version comes with RWD and much smaller wheels (19 inch instead of 22 ones)

zeekr has built a really beautiful car - but the energy consumption is way too high. for me thats a reason not to get it

Like on nearly every chinese ev. The german cars are more efficient. Id4 gtx with smaller battery and higher cw is more efficient and has more range than much smaller nio et5 touring with better cw.

So nice gimicks, but driving itself is the much better in other cars. And then.that awful consumption.

These are all people who know f*** all about the car industry. I'm sorry, but we are still waiting for the Chinese car, that arrives on these shores fully finished and developed. Everything they have shipped so far, is half-developed and full of glitches and software issues. And in the media, it is always pointed out, that European carmakers are taking twice as long to develop a new car. This is why!
@oxidalpha63503 сағат бұрын
@@patrickf2386 totally agree with you. New xiaomi su7 had 70 crashes in one day because of automatic parking issues. That happens if you not do enough testing
@patrickf23863 сағат бұрын
@@cobaltblue2756 that's not the issue! In China, they prioritise speed before quality (in all industries). They'd rather release a half-finished product sooner, than a fully developed one later. This is acceptable in Chinese (and other Asian) culture and business. It is, however, not going to work in Europe. No one will pay 60k for this car with high consumption and software issues and no dealership network. Even Polestar is failing big time, they're almost bankrupt now because of how flawed their products were in the past.

It's not developed and designed in China, unfortunately it's developed in Gothenburg, Sweden while China mass produce.
