I wish carmakers would be forbidden to use piano black panels in and on their cars. It scratches and gets ugly quite quickly. Pity this car was in black. It is impossible to judge the looks of it.

The Model Y isn’t even in the same league as this car. This is like a German luxury car for about 1/3 the price. Have only seen driving reviews in China and the suspension is on the soft side, pretty sure this should get a European tune, would be curious to see how it does against the Q8 etron.

Model y is shit, suicided long ago, no killers needed. This Zeekr 7x is BMW iX and Macan comparable premium SUV with air suspension, incredible fast charging, real offroad capability, tons of features and great quality.

Great car, but charging speed apart, highly compromised by the weight of the batteries, quality/price is just ok. It is not a Tesla killer at all, if you hate Elon Musk's brand, you will never buy a Model Y. So the Zeekr becomes a killer of any other manufacturer including the brands from the same group Volvo and Polestar. The efficiency of this car is very bad and if you have ever owned an EV you know that is the MOST important thing.

Black is the worst color for a car at an auto show. You see no lines, you see no difference between color coded surfaces and black surfaces. The car comes you like a dark stain on the lens of the camera. Any other color is better to show the lines of a car. Not very impressed by the rest of the car either.

The 7x and zeekr as a brand in general feels like a premium brand. Better than Byd/denza and xpeng.

It was designed to be China’s premium brand and its Swedish roots shows it benefits from premium build. The equipment level though, makes it seem like a luxury brand.

Model y looks bigger than this with a much bigger boot so I don’t think it’s a competitor for people who need that larger boot space. That rear legroom is arguably more than required and results in that boot space being smaller

It's all beautiful untill you look into the details. The problems with NMC batteries are that they degrade like crazy (by a factor of 2-4 times faster compared to LFP) and you can not charge them to 100% (!!!) Extremely poor battery choice from Zeekr for top spec model.

There is a nice lfp option (base version). All European competitors only have nmc if you look in their details, or am I missing something

@@Matsie1431 yes, you are missing a ton. Two best selling brands on the planet abandoned NMC batteries years ago. Yet Zeekr is bringing them back from the grave.

Most performance cars use NMC/NCA. Until now most budget models use LFP. LFP has lower density. LFP does not like 100% either.

Good they have 8 years Battery warranty with no km restrictions. So if it degrade like hell as you think, they will replace the battery
