एक रिकॉर्ड के मुताबिक भारत के इतिहास में लोगों ने सबसे ज्यादा बार गदर मूवी को देखा है। सनी देओल की अदाकारी का कोई जवाब ही नहीं। ग़दर 1 को ब्लॉकबस्टर हिट करने में उसके संगीत का भी बहुत बड़ा योगदान था, उदित नारायण जिनकी आवाज़ दुनिया में शायद सबसे खूबसूरत है, उन्होंने गदर के हर-एक song को यादगार और अमर बना दिया। अगर उदित नारायण को गदर का बैकग्राउंड हीरो बोला जाए तो गलत नहीं होगा, क्योंकि पूरे फिल्म के बैकग्राउंड म्यूजिक में उदित नारायण की आवाज गूंजती रहती है। उत्तम सिंह(म्यूजिक डायरेक्टर) को भी लोग गदर के लिए पूरे जीवन याद रखेंगे। अनिल शर्मा जी का भी क्या कहना, वो तो अमर हो चुके हैं इस फिल्म को बनाने के बाद। अमीषा पटेल ने भी बेहद लाजवाब एक्टिंग किया है। कुल मिलाकर बोला जाए तो गदर जैसी अमर film ना पहले कभी बनी थी और ना बनेगी। आज भी यह मूवी जब टीवी पर आती है तो टीवी का चैनल चेंज नहीं होता।
