I like alia...but she doesn't have what it takes to pull off more traditional dance numbers like this song or ghar more pardesiya and the durga pujo song in rocky ranj.....her steps are abrupt, and unnecessary use of excessive energy doesnt even let you see the dance properly...she looks out of rythum in these settings.

Finally found someone who shares the same opinion like me. I also think that Alia looks like a misfit in traditional dance numbers. Maybe that's why choreographers try to give her steps which are very energetic and fast paced so that audience doesn't notice her discomfort in these kind of dance numbers. But above all, i think that she lacks the grace to carry off these dance numbers. You notice the grace in the dance moves in Priyanka Chopra and even Deepika Padukone but Alia totally lacks that grace and elegance required to pull these traditional dance steps. I feel that even Ranveer Singh had a certain kind of grace in his dance moves in the Durga Puja song in Rocky Aur Rani despite being a male. But Alia totally lacks in that department.
