As a 1st generation Nepali, born and bread in India, this is only the 2nd song after "Musu Musu Haansi" (heard in 2003/04) that has featured in a Bollywood song, there could be more though who knows, but these two are the only ones I've heard. Although, at home we either speak Hindi, Tamang or Lama, but having learned Nepali through watching Nepali movies in Channel Nepal which started to feature from 2002/03 onwards in India thorough cable TV, it feels good to hear a familiar song (language) in a Bollywood song, which is not mainstream.

May be not known fact, rich nepali man who was madly in love with saif ali khan's mother is half mad and still alive living in Kathmandu. He met his sharmila when they were in college. They had a brief relationship and sharmila even came with her mother to Kathmandu, to stay with him and his family for a while, and went back to India. She then went on with her life and career..However this man never recovered from a heart break, remained unmarried. He is a good family friend of my grandmother.
